Two Giuliani Associates Allegedly Involved in Ukraine Dirt Scheme Arrested on Campaign Finance Charges
Two foreign-born businessmen identified as clients of Rudy Giuliani have been arrested in Virginia on federal campaign finance charges. Both men were arrested as they were leaving the country.
MSNBC reports the two men were involved in Giuliani’s attempts to dig up dirt on Joe Biden in Ukraine. Both men reportedly are Trump donors.
The Wall Street Journal reports the men are Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, two “Soviet-born donors to a pro-Trump fundraising committee who helped Rudy Giuliani’s efforts to investigate Democrat Joe Biden.”
The men “have been under investigation by the U.S. attorney’s office in Manhattan.”
MSNBC says the charges span 21 pages, include conspiracy, falsifying records, and falsifying records to the FEC. They also involve a $325,000 donation.
