Trump Administration Officially Announces Winner of G-7 Location Is Trump Doral Resort in Miami
White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney has just announced the winner of the administration’s search for a meeting event location for next year’s G-7 is President Donald Trump’s Miami Doral resort.
Mulvaney claimed it was about “50% cheaper” to hold the meeting of the leaders of the world’s largest advanced economies at a Trump property.
Mulvaney, asked about avoiding the appearance of impropriety, said President Trump considered that but didn’t care. “We’ll take” the criticism.
