Trump Blasts “Crazy Mueller Report” and “People That Take So-Called ‘Notes'”

President Donald Trump is taking Good Friday off, but woke up in Mar-a-Lago and took to Twitter to continue his attacks.

The 448 page report submitted by the Attorney General, a redacted version of the Special Counsel’s 22-month investigation is being called by the President the “Crazy Mueller Report.”

Trump also leveled a clear attack on his former loyal White House Counsel, Don McGahn, who according to the “crazy” report saved his presidency by refusing to take actions Trump directed.

“Watch out for people that take so-called ‘notes,’ when the notes never existed until needed,” Trump tweeted.

The remark is a reference to what was revealed in the redacted version of the Mueller report, as The Washington Post reports:

In one Oval Office meeting, Trump challenged his note-taking practices; according to the report, Trump was angry that McGahn had told federal investigators he directed McGahn to have Mueller removed.

McGahn recounted Trump telling him: “Lawyers don’t take notes. I never had a lawyer who took notes.”

According to the Mueller report, McGahn said “real lawyers” keep notes, then explained that creating a record was “not a bad thing.”

The president responded, “I’ve had a lot of great lawyers, like Roy Cohn. He did not take notes.”
