Fox News Legal Expert: Cohen’s Testimony Implicates Trump in ‘At Least Four Potential Felonies’

Cohen Paints ‘A Potentially Grave Picture for the President’ Napolitano Reveals
Michael Cohen‘s day-long explosive testimony before Congress on Wednesday did not disappoint. According to Fox News’ legal expert Andrew Napolitano, Trump’s former attorney implicated the President in at “least four potential felonies.”
“If Cohen is being truthful and if the government can corroborate what he said,” Napolitano revealed, “there’s at least four potential felonies of which he has accused the President of the United States.”
The former judge also called them, “big ifs,” as The Hill reports.
Napolitano pointed to Cohen’s claim that Trump’s longtime advisor and friend Roger Stone gave Trump a heads-up about an upcoming Wikileaks dump of Hillary Clinton’s emails.
“If the conversation [Cohen] says he overheard with Roger Stone is true, then the president lied under oath, because the president swore to the accuracy of his answers to the written questions from [Special Counsel Robert Mueller], one of which was: ‘Did you speak to Roger Stone about Julian Assange?’ Answer: No,” Napolitano said.
That would be one possible felony. Another would be if Trump[ knew about the Trump Tower meeting with Don Jr. and the Russians.
“If what Michael Cohen says is true, that the president knew about the meeting with the Russians in Trump Tower in June 2016, then he lied under oath, because he told Bob Mueller he didn’t know about it,” he added.
The $35,000 check would be a potential felony committed while in office.
