Listen: Ad for White Republican on Black Radio Station Warns False Rape Accusations Will Lead to ‘Lynching’

An ad for a white Arkansas Republican that is being run on an African-American radio station warns that white women will “cry rape,” which will lead to the lynching of black men, if Democrats take control of Congress.

“Our Congressman French Hill and the Republicans know that it’s dangerous to change the presumption of innocence to a presumption of guilt — especially for black men,” the ad, apparently narrated by a black woman, began.

“If the Democrats can do that to a white justice of the Supreme Court with no evidence, no corroboration and all of her witnesses, including her best friend, say it didn’t happen — what will happen to our husbands, our fathers or our sons when a white girl lies on them?” the woman added, noting that white Democrats “will be lynching black folk again.”

The ad then shifts to another black woman narrator who claimed she is “voting to keep Congressman French Hill and the Republicans because we have to protect our men and boys.”

“We can’t afford to let white Democrats take us back to bad old days of race verdicts, life sentences and lynchings when a white girl screams ‘rape,’” the second woman noted.

A third narrator notes at the end of the ad that it was “paid for by Black Americans for the President’s Agenda.” The Daily Beast’s Lachlan Markay noted on Twitter that the PAC is run by West Virginia State Rep. Jill Upson (R).

On October 12, former ESPN host and current Atlantic staff writer Jemele Hill noted that black men were surprisingly sympathetic to Brett Kavanaugh’s claims of innocence in the face of multiple sexual assault allegations.

“Countless times, black men have had to witness the careers and reputations of other black men ruthlessly destroyed because of unproved rape and sexual-assault accusations,” Hill wrote. “And as that Baltimore audience member also argued, if the claims were made by a white woman, expect the damage to be triple.”

You can listen to the ad, flagged by Twitter user Ben Tribbett, below:

White Supremacist Congressman Steve King Says if Not for Rape and Incest ‘Would There Be Any Population Left?’

U.S. Rep. Steve King (R-IA) is facing yet another firestorm after remarks he just made have started to get attention. The Iowa Congressman suggested humankind might no longer exist if not for acts of rape and incest throughout millennia.

“What if we went back through all the family trees and just pulled out anyone who was a product of rape or incest? Would there be any population of the world left if we did that?” King told the Westside Conservative Club Wednesday, as the Des Moines Register reports. “Considering all the wars and all the rapes and pillages that happened throughout all these different nations, I know that I can’t say that I was not a part of a product of that.”

“Steve King” is currently the number two trending item on Twitter.

King, who has already been stripped of all committee assignments after other disturbing remarks he made led the House to vote 424-1 on a resolution condemning, among other ills, white supremacy, was defending his position of refusing to allow exceptions for rape and incest in an anti-abortion bill he had sponsored.

Just five days before the resolution passed nearly unanimously King had told The New York Times, “White nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization—how did that language become offensive?”

That is just the tip of the iceberg for the white supremacist Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th District. Voters have returned King to the House of Representatives eight times since first electing him in 2002.

Up until his New York Times remarks, King was probably best known for attacking undocumented immigrants by saying: “For every one who’s a valedictorian, there’s another 100 out there who weigh 130 pounds – and they’ve got calves the size of cantaloupes because they’re hauling 75 pounds of marijuana across the desert.”

King has compared active U.S. Military service members who are transgender to eunuchs. In 2017 he predicted a race war between Hispanics and “the Blacks.” One year earlier he had asked what “sub-groups” of humans, besides white people,  have contributed more to human civilization. And he opposed congress providing disaster relief to victims of Hurricane Sandy because he said they might spend FEMA money on “Gucci bags and massage parlors,” which he claimed Hurricane Katrina victims did.

The list of King’s racist, bigoted, and hate-filled remarks is much longer than even these examples.

Anti-Vaxxer Threatened to Kill Democratic Congresswoman Over Vaccine Bill: Report

A Pentagon contractor has been charged with threatening to kill a U.S. Congresswoman over a bill that would require all public schools receiving federal funds to ensure all children are vaccinated.

The Daily Beast reports the court filing does not name the lawmaker, but they have determined it is Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL). It says Darryl Albert Varnum of Westminster, Maryland is the person named in the criminal complaint filed in federal court.

The threats allegedly were left in a voicemail, and are explicit and disturbing.

“I’m gonna kill your ass if you do that bill. I swear,” Varnum’s voicemail began. “I will fucking come down and kill your fucking ass. And you’re a Congressperson, that’s fine. I hope the fucking FBI, CIA and everybody else hears this shit.”

“This is the United States of America, bitch. Get the fuck out,” the voicemail continued. “I’ll tell you what I’ll come down to Miami bitch. I’ll fuck you up. Like the Cubans don’t even know.”

The Daily Beast adds that Varnum also made disturbing remarks on his Facebook page, comparing the “Vaccinate All Children Act” to the Holocaust.

“I’m done with this bullshit. Time to step up or ship out,” he wrote. In a comment on that post, Varnum added, “All of our guns are next. Been trying for years!”

Fox News Host’s Insane Anti-LGBT Screed: Activists Are Trying to Make Kids Transgender by ‘Eliminating Gays’

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld went on a lengthy deep-dive into what he claims are the motivations of LGBT activists, falsely accusing them of trying to increase the number of transgender children by “eliminating gays.”

There is exactly zero truth to Gutfeld’s claims, which he made on Fox News’ “The Five” on Monday, as Media Maters reports.

In his screed Gutfeld uses the language of the far right, like “gender confusion,” while suggesting gay men and boys are “feminine.”

Gutfeld also seems to suggest that gay men are programed to be gay.

And he also makes the false assumption that all transgender people are heterosexual.

In short, Gutfeld has literally no idea what he’s talking about, but he is successful as spreading false tropes to the Fox News audience.

Here’s the full transcript and video, via Media Matters.

“There are young children, when they express gender confusion, the push among these same activists is to transition these confused children at a young age to the hetero sex, meaning if you have a young boy with feminine qualities you need to transition that person into a female so that person would then become straight,” Gutfeld tells the Fox News audience. “What you are effectively doing is you are eliminating gays because experts will tell you a young boy with feminine traits might just grow up to be a healthy gay man who lives a long life.”

There is a massive amount of stereotyping in those remarks.

“Instead you are going to push him in a direction that requires decades of drugs, decades of therapy and possibly surgery and higher rates of depression and suicide,” he continues. “So the left, interestingly enough, abhorred those organizations like Exodus, remember Exodus? That would take gay people and try to deprogram them. They hated them and probably for good reason. Where are they in this destructive practice of plucking confused kids who may grow out of a phase or may end up becoming gay or lesbian and saying no, it’s better for them to become a transgender female or male, knowing that this could end up with years and years of pain and suffering?”

Again, false.

“Sports and childhood are being affected by what is an intense political activism. And it scares the crap out of people. It’s scaring the crap out of liberals more than anybody because gays and lesbians are the ones that are getting hit probably the hardest on this.”
