LIES AND THE LYING LIARS THAT TELL THEM
Mayor Rudy Giuliani: I ‘Voted for Justices Sotormayor and Kagen’

Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani Thursday evening praised Republican Senator Lindsey Graham’s explosive attacks on Democrats during the widely-watched Kavanaugh confirmation hearing. And he applauded the senior Senator from South Carolina for having voted to confirm now-justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan.
But Giuliani, who has never held elected office after serving as Mayor of the City of New York, also took the opportunity to brag that he too voted to confirm Sotomayor and Kagan.
That’s a lie.
Senator Lindsay Graham distinguished himself today as the fairest man and the best lawyer in Washington. He voted for Justices Sotormayor and Kagen on old fashioned principles. I also did. If he is going to vote for Judge Kavanaugh, the Senate all should.

Giuliani, who infamously coined the phrase, “truth isn’t truth,” never served as a U.S. Senator, which is the only way anyone can vote to confirm a Supreme Court justice.
Also embarrassingly, Giuliani managed to misspell Justices Sotomayor and Kagan’s names.
