2018 ELECTIONS
Sending Trump to Ohio Might Be a Gift to the Dems
Get out to the polls and vote – for people who aren’t even on the ballot. That’s the clear message our current POTUS is spreading far and wide with a series of new tweets.
Trump is urging Ohio voters to support Rep. Steve Stivers (R-Ohio) in the state’s upcoming special election. The main issue here is that Stivers is not even a candidate in the special election. Go figure.
“Congressman Steve Stivers of Ohio has done a fantastic job as chair of the [National Republican Congressional Committee],” Trump wrote in the since-deleted tweet. “Go out and vote for Steve on Aug 7.”
The GOP is sending Trump to Ohio this weekend in an effort to secure the votes that will be a game-changer for the 2018 midterms. However, Trump’s not the brightest bulb in the box, as his recent tweets reinforced.
Once the Stivers tweet was deleted, Trump posted a new message minutes later backing GOP state senator Troy Balderson. He won a 10-way GOP primary and will square off with Democrat Danny O’Connor on Tuesday.
Trump tweeted: “Looking forward to being in the Great State of Ohio on Saturday night where I will be campaigning hard for a truly talented future Congressman, @Troy_Balderson. See you all then!”

Balderson’s district has been staunchly GOP-led since 1980. But if all else fails, Trump can just send in his wanna be bride daughter Ivanka to “fix” things.
They asked my daughter Ivanka whether or not the media is the enemy of the people. She correctly said no. It is the FAKE NEWS, which is a large percentage of the media, that is the enemy of the people!

Let’s state the obvious: a 50% approval rating is not something to tweet happily about by any means. But thanks for playing!
