BBC Brilliantly Trolls Trump by Comparing Royal Wedding Crowd Photo to President’s Inauguration Turnout

The British Broadcasting Corporation threw shade across the Atlantic as Prince Harry married Meghan Markle.
With large crowds gathered for the wedding, BBC Three contrasted the crowds with President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

The format was reminiscent of a famous inauguration tweet by New York Times correspondent Binyamin Appelbaum, that caused an uproar when it was retweeted by the National Park Service.

Despite the photographic evidence, then-press secretary Sean Spicer said “this was the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration — period.”
