The Alt-Right Still Supports Trump, Is Still Mad, and Is Still Pushing Fake News
Michael G. Flynn, the son of fired felon and former Trump National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, is throwing yet another Twitter tantrum, and this one is a doozy.
The younger Flynn came to the nation’s attention after the election, when he was pushing the PizzaGate conspiracy theory that was so prevalent in some circles – especially the alt-right – that today one man today sits in jail after driving from North Carolina to northwest Washington, D.C. to “investigate” the pizza parlor that falsely was painted as the center of a child sex trafficking ring operating out of its basement, and headed by Hillary Clinton and John Podesta.
And when it comes to jobs on team Trump, it’s like father, like son. Both Flynns have been fired by Trump officials.
The elder Flynn was fired allegedly for lying to Vice President Mike Pence, but the real reason had a lot more to do with then-Acting Attorney General Sally Yates telling the Trump administration that Flynn was likely compromised by the Russians – and the media found out and pressured the White House to act.
The younger Flynn was fired from the Trump transition team for pushing the dangerous PizzaGate lie.
Meanwhile, on Monday, Flynn Jr. posted several strange and cryptic tweets.
In one, he tweeted “#ImpeachObama,” after alt-right conspiracy theorist Jack Posobiec tried to get the hashtag trending.

In another, far stranger tweet, Flynn Jr. tweeted:
You’re all going down. You know who you are. Mark my word….
— 🇺🇸MFLYNNJR🇺🇸 (@mflynnJR) May 21, 2018
The responses to the madness, however, were the best part:
Ok @mflynnJR I’ll play along.
For those not familiar with the delusions in your head, who exactly is going down? And will those people need to fight your dad for the top bunk, or does his treason land him in solitary? https://t.co/nBNreONZC0

‘Very Bad News for Chauvin’: Legal Expert Weighs in on Jurors Having Reached a Verdict So Quickly in Murder Trial
Jurors have reached a verdict, less than 24 hours after the trial of Derek Chauvin concluded. Chauvin is charged with the killing of George Floyd, and faces three charges.
The verdict is expected to be announced in about an hour.
Former federal prosecutor Renatto Marioitti says this is “very bad news for Chauvin.”
This is very bad news for Chauvin.
It is hard to believe that the jury could come back with a "not guilty" verdict this quickly, if ever, and his team had to be hoping for a hung jury. https://t.co/MgN6hgDMih

Ted Nugent Tests Positive for Coronavirus He Called Fake: ‘I Thought I Was Dying’
Rocker and COVID-19 denier Ted Nugent has tested positive for the coronavirus.
“Everybody told me that I should not announce this,” Nugent says in the video. “I have had flu symptoms for the last 10 days. I thought I was dying — just a clusterf*ck.”
“I was tested positive today, I got the Chinese shit,” Nugent added. “I’ve got a stuffed-up head, body aches. My God, what a pain in the ass. I literally could hardly crawl out of bed the last few days… So I was officially tested positive for COVID-19 today.”
Nugent downplayed the pandemic and various mitigation efforts as recently as last week, and even after his infection questions the safety and necessity of the COVID-19 vaccines.
Yet, even after his own infection, Nugent isn’t about to change his stance on COVID-19, especially when it comes to vaccines,” Nugent says. “Nobody knows what’s in it. If you can’t even honestly answer our questions of exactly what’s in it and why are you testing it on human beings and forcing it on people in such a short period of time.”
Chauvin Defense Falsely Claims Congresswoman Threatened ‘Violence’ and Requests ‘Mistrial’ – Judge Refuses
After a full day of closing arguments and the judge in the Derek Chauvin trial instructing the jury, defense attorney Eric Nelson falsely claimed U.S. Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA), who he did not mention by name, had “threatened violence” if the jury does not convict.
“Now that we have U.S. Representatives threatening acts of violence in relation to this specific case, it’s mind-boggling,” Nelson told Judge Peter Cahill, asking for a mistrial.
“I’ll give you that Congresswoman Waters may have given you something on appeal that may result in this whole trial being overturned,” Judge Cahill replied, but he denied Nelson’s request for a mistrial.
Jurors have spent weeks in the case of the now-former police officer who pressed his knee of George Floyd’s neck for 9 minutes and 29 seconds.
After jurors were excused, Nelson, who was criticized by pundits during the trial and for a long and boring closing argument, registered other complaints with the judge.
“I felt this jury should have been sequestered from the very beginning,” Nelson told the judge, repeatedly using the word “mistrial.” He also claimed “prosecutorial misconduct.”
Defense lawyers attempted to ask Judge Cahill for a mistrial in the case because of the state’s language in its final closing arguments.
Judge Cahill denied the request. #GeorgeFloyd

Nelson told the judge the jury had not been instructed to stay away from news stories, the judge and the prosecutor disagreed, providing examples.
The judge scolded elected officials for discussing the trial, calling doing so “abhorrent.”
Eric Nelson is now using Rep Maxine Waters saying that protesters should get “more active” & “more confrontational” if Derek Chauvin isn’t convicted as a reason for a mistrial to be declared. He’s claiming she threatened violence.
Fact check: Waters did not threaten violence.

“I wish elected officials would stop talking about this case,” Judge Peter Cahill said. “Their failure to do so is abhorrent but … a congresswoman’s opinion really doesn’t matter a lot. So, motion for mistrial denied.”
