Christian Trumpbro Calls Same-Sex Couple ‘Intolerant’ of His Beliefs, Follows and Lectures Them for ‘Abnormal’ Behavior
‘This is the Trump Era’
A same-sex couple say they were celebrating a two-year anniversary by walking around the Huntington Beach Pier in Orange County, California, when a man who claims to be a criminal defense attorney (he reportedly is not) approached them and started to lecture them. He told them they are sinners, will burn in hell because they’re gay, and offered to pray with them. He also attacked them for being “intolerant”of his beliefs. Then he defended his behavior by saying he has a right to say anything he wants while stressing that “this is the Trump era,” as if that empowers him to challenge LGBT people in public.Â
Jessica Lundquist and Tiffany Steinberg told OC Weekly “he got uncomfortably close…he said that we were ‘unnatural’ and we were going to hell for our actions…we were just trying to get away from the conversation.”Â
After Steinberg posted the video online the same night, the man was identified by angry web sleuths as Irvine resident Anthony Allan Miskulin, a 38-year-old Trump supporter who was interviewed by the Los Angeles Times last November (ironically in an article about Trump supporters speaking about how they aren’t ignorant) and OC Register for his denial of climate change. He is in fact not a lawyer but told the LA Times he works in corporate sales and voted for Trump after falling on hard times. Before he managed to make his profile private, posts revealed he’s your typical Conservative Christian nut with his timeline full of Infowars videos and check-ins to local churches.
The OC Weekly calls Miskulin a “Trumpbro.”
Towleroad notes “Lundquist and Steinberg have a YouTube channel called Tiff & Jess where they spoke at length about the outrageous incident.” They also share more footage not included in the Facebook video above.
