A 15 Foot Tall, Tangerine-Tinged, Full of Hot Air ‘Trump Rat’ Is Now Hanging Out in Washington DC
‘As Long as Trump Is in Office…Trump Rat Lives’
It’s 15 feet tall, has tangerine skin, mustard-yellow hair, is shaped like a cartoon rat, and is full of hot air. “Trump Rat,” as its co-creator, New York art gallery owner John Post Lee calls it, is going to spend the next two days hanging out in DuPont Circle in Washington, D.C., just minutes from the White House.

“This political cartoon in balloon form might look like one of those oversized, inflatable rats that unions bring to protests, but ‘Trump Rat was custom made,’ the artwork’s co-creator says, ‘from the ground up,'” The Washington Post reports.
Politically, Lee identifies as “a humanist†— he wants his federal government to protect people’s rights, infrastructure and environment, and he’s a capitalist business owner who’s critical of war profiteering. He emphasizes: “My values are those that many people share.â€
As long as Trump is in office,†Lee tells The Post, “Trump Rat lives.â€
But sadly, Trump will be in Texas and Missouri the next two days, and Trump Rat is expected to be in DC only that long.
On Monday, Lee posted a photo of the deflated Trump Rat to Twitter.
