In Key Battleground of Ohio Clinton Now Beating Trump by 10 Points in Large-Sample Poll
Ohio Voters Also Say Clinton Won Debate By Double Digits
Hillary Clinton is beating Donald Trump by a huge margin, ten points, in the key battleground state of Ohio. A new just-released poll of over 1100Â likely voters, a large sample for a state-wide poll, taken immediately following the second presidential debate Sunday night and ending 7 PM Tuesday evening shows the Democratic nominee winning 48% to 38% in a head-to-head matchup.
In a four way race with two third-party candidates, Clinton still beats Trump by a strong margin of nine points, 43% to 34%.
The Baldwin Wallace Community Research Institute poll also asked respondents who won the second presidential debate. Of the 59% of Ohio voters who watched the debate, 52% said Clinton won, and only 31% said Trump.

Ohio Republican Governor John Kasich refused to attend the Republican National Convention, which was held in Ohio in July, and has been vocal about his refusal to endorse his party’s nominee. Just one month ago Kasich said it is “very unlikely” he will even vote for Trump.
The Hill reports a “CBS News/YouGov survey released Sunday found Clinton leading Trump by four points in the Buckeye State.”
The RealClearPolitics average for Ohio puts Clinton up just 0.5% over Trump. From the end of August to the end of September, Trump was beating Clinton in nearly every Ohio poll.
