One Million Moms Gets Married – Meet One Million Dads

The anti-gay group One Million Moms, famous for sticking its nose in other people’s businesses, has a new and improved partner.

Who could forget those hilarious campaigns against Honey Maid, the Boy Scouts, the Girl Scouts, Oreo, Victoria’s Secret, Ragú, “The New Normal,” “Glee,” Amazon, JC Penney, Macy’s, Toys R Us, Ellen, J Lo, Green Lantern, Marvel and DC Comics, and Skittles?

That’s a lot of hard work, so, as is God’s plan, One Million Moms has taken a partner.

Meet the new and improved One Million Dads.

The newly revamped and relaunched site, still an arm of the American Family Association, is apparently being headed up by the Tupelo, Mississippi’s anti-gay hate group’s IT Director, Jim Shempert.

Shempert penned an introduction asking, “If the men of the Church do not lead, who will?

Apparently, attacking companies and entertainers for advocating equality – or, sometimes, using foul language or showing some skin – isn’t just women’s work any longer.

Shempert says he had “a bad case of stupid from about 17 to 24,” but he’s been fixed through Jesus Christ and his loving wife.

Sure, it’s easy to stand back and complain that the world is going to pot,” Shempert says.

“Things have never been this bad before” is often a familiar cry.  So the question begs to be answered, “What changed?”  Why is everything falling apart?  Many Christians are quick to say that we have abandoned God in our government, and that is true.  However, God reigns supreme in the hearts of His believers.  We are the temple of God.  So where is the disconnect?”

And he know that there “will be detractors who read this who say I am anti-feminist, anti-women, and whatever other drivel they can come up with to paint me as a bad guy to silence my stance.  That’s what darkness does.  Darkness tries to shout down the light, to thereby quench it.”

Let me preempt them by saying that I am married to a fiercely independent woman, was raised by a fiercely independent woman, and have a fiercely independent little girl in my home.  I’m going to teach my little girl that she can do anything she wants in this life, as long as she works hard for it.    What I want for her, if she chooses to get married, is to find a man who has been raised in the Lord, to have little Jesus loving babies with…God willing of course.

What if she wants to have those Jesus loving babies with another woman?

And how long before the group starts begging for money?
