Watch: The Ad That Made Prop 8 Law. (Yes, They Used Children.)
The use of kids in any ad I think is wrong, especially in ads about social issues. If you want to use kids to sell toys, go for it. If you want to use kids to sell hate, there is something wrong with you.
Thirty-one seconds of fear and hatred is what swung five percent of California’s voters from voting “no” to voting “yes” on Prop 8. In a 52-48 margin vote, five percent was all they needed. And the “Yes On 8” folks were happy to lie and use children to get their way.
