Maddow: Fehrenbach Wins Pension (Why Not Dan Choi?)
Last night Rachel Maddow lauded the success of Lt. Col. Victor Fehrenbach, who fortunately “won” (sad we have to call it that) an honorable discharge and his full pension. We’re thrilled, and hope that all LGBTQ members of the military in Fehrenbach’s shoes will get the same treatment. But we have to ask, when will the military drop collection efforts on Dan Choi and all the others who are getting socked with bills for being discharged?
Congrats to Lt. Col. Fehrenbach! Definitely a step in the right direction!
