Rick Perry And The 2012 Race: CNN’s Utter Lack Of Journalistic Standards
CNN is home to Erick Erickson, the infamous founder of the radical, extreme right wing blog RedState. If that isn’t enough of an eyebrow raiser for you, consider this. Rick Perry, as planned and as previously leaked, moments ago announced he is entering the race for the Republican nomination for President — at Erick Erickson’s RedState conference. And, if that isn’t enough of a “Huh?” for you — get this: Erick Erickson was on CNN last night delivering “analysis” of Rick perry’s positions.
It’s truly a pity, because CNN has developed the concept of cable news, and gave birth to so many greats, including, most recently, Anderson Cooper and Don Lemon, so take this criticism as critique of CNN management — not its journalists.
