Breaking: Prosecutors Say ‘Pharma Bro’ Martin Shkreli May Face Even More Charges
Despised Former Drug CEO Indicted for Securities Fraud Was in Court Today
Martin Shkreli may face additional charges, prosecutors warn. The founder and former CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals who became infamous for hiking the price of a life-saving drug used by AIDS and cancer patients over 5000 percent was arrested and charged with securities fraud late last year.Â

Federal prosecutors are “seriously considering adding new charges against Martin Shkreli, including securities fraud,” CNBC reports. Those charges, which may also include securities fraud, are related to Shkreli’s tenure at another biotech company where he was also CEO:Â Retrophin.

The 30-something year old appeared in U.S. Federal Court in Brooklyn today.
In February, Shkreli appeared before a House committee in February, but refused to testify, citing his Fifth Amendment rights. Upon leaving the hearing, he took to Twitter to call Congress members “imbeciles.”
