A protest against Uganda‘s Kill The Gays bill, organized just yesterday, is taking place today, and reports are coming in showing activists holding a huge banner that reads, “Shame on Kadaga,” and “Gays R Humans Too.”
“Kadaga” is Rebecca Kadaga, the Speaker of Parliament in Uganda who has promised the Kill The Gays bill as an early “Christmas gift” to Ugandan Christians.
Laura Raymond, the Advocacy Program Manager, International Human Rights at the Center for Constitutional Rights posted the photo above to Twitter, noting protestors are chanting “stop gay genocide.”
