Todd Akin Now Blaming Liberals, Despite Top GOP Leaders Calling For Him To Quit
Todd Akin has moved from radical right wing extremist to delusional politician desperately attempting to save what will me a devastating loss. Just take a look at every single comment Akin has made via Twitter since Sunday’s release of his interview in which he claimed women can automagically prevent themselves from becoming pregnant in cases of “legitimate” rape.
Note, that practically every Republican has suggested Congressman Akin quit his bid for the U.S. Senate. From Mitt Romney to Paul Ryan to Mitch McConnell to Scott Brown to Rush Limbaugh to Sean Hannity to Mark Levin to Charles Krauthammer to Joe Scarborough and countless other Republicans and conservative leaders have denounced Akin and called upon him to quit the race.
But it’s the “liberal media” and the “liberal elites” Akin is claiming to his supporters who are the ones trying to get him to exit the race. That’s a lie. And for the record, hell no! Please, Congressman Akin, stay in the race. Claire McCaskill is a valued Senator and will do a great job over the next six years.
