Santorum Tells Glenn Beck He Is A Better Father Than Obama
Rick Santorum, continuing his attacks on President Obama in his one-man race to become the Pope of America, today attacked the president for allowing his daughter, 13-year old Malia, to visit Mexico. Yes, Mexico.

“Millions of U.S. citizens safely visit Mexico each year for study, tourism, and business, including more than 150,000 who cross the border every day,” the latest State Department travel warning notes. But Santorum, who has fathered eight children, is claiming he’s Father Knows Best.
“What I would say is that the president’s actions should reflect what his administration is saying,†Santorum tells Glenn Beck, The Blaze reports. “If the administration is saying that it’s not safe to have people down there, then just because you can send 25 Secret Service agents doesn’t mean you should do it. You should set an example. I think that‘s what president’s do. They set an example. And when the government is saying this is not safe, then you don’t set the example by sending your kids down there.â€
Of course, the administration did not say “it’s not safe to have people down there,” but why would Santorum worry about facts at this point in his twisted, far-right-of-even-the-pope campaign?
Even The Blaze — which is Glenn Beck’s own website — notes how ludicrous Santorum’s comments are:
“Luckily, no specific warning was issued for the exact area (Oaxaca) Malia is said to be visiting.”
At this point, even Santorum’s strongest supporters must be asking themselves what a President (Pope?) Santorum would be like, day in and day out.
Would Santorum dominate the 24/7 news cycle, choosing to opine on every issue that appears on CNN, FOX, or MSNBC? Would he offer his fatherly, papal advice on every topic, from sports to the weather to local news? When will his handlers finally say, “Rick, just MYOB?”
