Gohmert: “Evil Emperor” Obama On “Magical Misery Tour” In “Darth Vader Bus”
Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) appeared on Fox News Business channel with host Lou Dobbs to call for the resignation of Tim Geithner and Ben Bernanke, and to take ludicrous swings at Obama, with no journalistic challenge from Dobbs, of course.
“Gohmert makes up an Obama quote out of thin air, then he and Lou Dobbs proceed to bash Obama for something he didn’t say for the rest of the segment. (A very typical Fox tactic.),” writes Charles Johson founder of Little Green Footballs, who calls this “classic right wing victimhood whining.”
“We need love and affection coming around this country, not that kind of hateful rhetoric,” Gohmert says, after lying about Obama’s statements.
In the past, Gohmert has claimed that repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t tell would be the “end of existence,” has said homosexuality is “adultery,” claiming that homosexuals cannot control their hormones and need to be removed from the military (so much for “don’t ask,”) and, on the floor of Congress, said,  “Sexual orientation means exactly what it says… if you’re oriented toward animals…†adding, “if you’re oriented toward corpses, toward children…â€
Then there was Gohmert’s “terror babies” phase…
Just remember, “We need love and affection coming around this country, not that kind of hateful rhetoric.”
