Chris Brown Accused Of Yelling Anti-Gay Slurs For The Umteenth Time
Chris Brown, the R&B singer more in the news for what he does that’s offensive than for his music, is being accused of using anti-gay homophobic slurs yet again, just three weeks after he was caught on camera for saying pretty much the exact same thing. This time, Brown is accused of saying, “That’s gay!”and “You’re a f*gg*t a**!” at a pickup game of basketball.
Here’s what I wrote three weeks ago. Brown isn’t worth any more of my time, so I’m just copying it. (I’m sure I’ll do the same thing in another three weeks.)
How about this time, we either don’t accept any apology, or demand he donate a million dollars to the Trevor Project?
P.S. Chris Brown on Facebook: 12,811,431 fans. The Trevor Project, which “is determined to end suicide among LGBTQ youth by providing life-saving and life-affirming resources including our nationwide, 24/7 crisis intervention lifeline, digital community and advocacy/educational programs that create a safe, supportive and positive environment for everyone,†has 161,342 Facebook fans.
Anyone see a problem here?
(Well, for one, Brown’s Facebook numbers surged: now he’s at 13,598,034 fans. The Trevor Project? 165,979 fans, which means that his “likes” are growing at more than twice the rate of the Trevor Project. Welcome to America.
Here. Help the Trevor Project.)
