Trump Rails Against Democrats for ‘Nasty Rumor’ His Golf Resort Had Bedbugs – but a Lawsuit Was the Source
President Donald Trump is blaming Democrats for what he claims is the “false and nasty rumor” one of his golf resorts had bedbugs, after #TrumpBedBugs was trending on Twitter. But he might want to look a little closer to home – and to the facts.
After delivering what amounted to a free two-minute commercial lavishing praise on his Trump National Doral Miami – from the G7 no less, because he is pushing to have it host next year’s annual summit – Trump defended his failing golf resort Tuesday morning via Twitter.
No bedbugs at Doral. The Radical Left Democrats, upon hearing that the perfectly located (for the next G-7) Doral National MIAMI was under consideration for the next G-7, spread that false and nasty rumor. Not nice!

Except it’s not a “false and nasty rumor,” according to Heavy.com.
It was Trump’s own comments pushing for the Doral, Heavy reports, that “inspired critics to bring up the fact that in 2016, a customer sued the resort due to an alleged infestation. New Jersey man Eric Linder said he was bitten all over his body by bed bugs. The lawsuit was settled in January of 2017, shortly after President Trump’s inauguration.”
Next year it’s the “G-7 Million”—seven world leaders and the 6,999,993 bedbugs at Trump Doral #TrumpBedBugs https://t.co/KHpL1mhtj7
