Watch: Anthony Weiner Has A Message, I Hope For Susan Collins
On July 30, Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) let loose on his fellow New York Representative, Republican Peter King, who obviously took procedural issue with how a vote was going to take place.
Perhaps the eloquent New York Congressman meant this message not only for Rep. King, but for Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) who is right now, and once again, playing politics with the NDAA and the attached “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” bill?
Collins supposedly could vote for repealing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” but is making reportedly “unreasonable” demands about allowing “unlimited” debate on attachments to the bill.
Those attachments, knowing the like of, say, Jim DeMint, could put everything, including our service men and women, in harm’s way.
I’ve always appreciated Rep. Weiner. Now, even more so.
