‘Fat, Ugly Face of Hers’: New Clinton Ad Shows Trump’s Voice Through the Eyes of Young Girls (Video)
“She’s a Slob. She Ate Like a Pig.â€
Hillary Clinton’s latest ad, a 30-second look at young girls, young women, seeing themselves through Donald Trump’s words, is heartbreaking. Various clips of Trump denigrating women are played, as the camera cuts to girl after girl after girl looking at themselves in a mirror, or on a cell-phone.Â
It’s very disturbing, hearing Trump say, “I’d look at her right in that fat, ugly face of hers.â€
“She’s a slob. She ate like a pig.â€
“A person who is flat-chested, it’s very hard to be a 10.â€
“Does she have a good body? No. Does she have a fat [bleep]? Absolutely.â€
It’s hard not to see Trump’s words impacting these girls, and not think it would be child abuse for them to grow up hearing him talk. And that’s the point of the video.
“The ad is clearly intended to appeal not only to women but other voters who find Trump’s colorful language about them offensive,” The Washington Post notes.
“A Washington Post-ABC poll earlier this month found 60 percent of Americans voters saying Trump is biased against women and minorities, including 66 percent of women and 53 percent of men.”
