‘He’s a Mexican, We’re Building a Wall’: Trump Again Attacks Judge in Trump University Case (Video)
Trump Says Judge Should Disqualify Himself
Donald Trump says that because the judge in his Trump University case is of “Mexican heritage,” he should disqualify himself because he has a conflict of interest. Trump has been attacking the same judge since February, but has never actually filed a formal complaint asking for the judge to be removed from his case.
In an interview Friday afternoon with CNN’s, Trump claimed that because there have been several rulings against him by U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel, they are “bad rulings,” and the judge has ben “very unfair.”
Trump explained to Jake Tapper, “we’re building a wall. He’s a Mexican. We’re building a wall between here and Mexico.”
“The answer is, he is giving us very unfair rulings, rulings that people can’t even believe. This case should have ended years ago.”
