Watch: Donald Trump Agrees to Debate Bernie Sanders, Sanders Says ‘Game On’
Could a Trump-Sanders Debate Really Happen?
Donald Trump has agreed to debate Bernie Sanders before the California primaries. Sanders had told ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel that he wanted to debate Trump, so Kimmel, who hosted the GOP presumptive nominee Wednesday night, told Trump. Trump agreed to the debate, for charity – first joking that Sanders should pay him. Sen. Sanders shot back minutes later, “Game on,” via Twitter:
Game on. I look forward to debating Donald Trump in California before the June 7 primary.

Sanders had said he was “disappointed, but not surprised” when Sec. Hillary Clinton announced she had declined a Fox News invitation to host a debate between the two vying for the Democratic nomination.
