Breaking: Former Subway Spokesperson Jared Fogle Sentenced For Child Porn And Sex With Minors
The former Subway spokesperson received a hefty sentence in court minutes ago.
Jared Fogle Thursday afternoon was sentenced to 15 years and eight months for possession of child pornography and for traveling across state lines for commercial sex with a minor. He could have received anywhere from five years, which is what his attorneys asked for, or up to 50 years. Prosecutors suggested about 11 years.
Judge Tanya Walton Pratt began today’s session at 9:00 AM in a federal court in Indianapolis, Indiana. Fogle had already pleaded guilty, and today’s session was to hand down a sentence.

“For most of my adult life, I’ve been in the spotlight, trying to be a role model,” Fogle said today. “…I became dependent on alcohol, pornography and prostitutes,” the IndyStar reports.Â
“Not a day will go by when I don’t think about what I did to (the victims),” Fogle said before sentencing.
