Biden’s New 8-Step Campaign Rescue Strategy Revealed
Amid a meltdown from some in the Democratic pundit and political class, and some left-wing voters, President Joe Biden and his family headed to Camp David for a long-scheduled weekend and VOGUE photoshoot during which they discussed his damaging debate performance and calls for him to drop out of the presidential race.
“You guys don’t get to decide,” a source close to President Biden told Axios. That source was “referring to high-profile Democrats now second-guessing Biden as nominee.”
“That’s not how this works. We don’t have smoke-filled rooms,” they added.
(Up until 1978, presidential tickets were chosen at massive party conventions.)
Those high-profile Democrats “just have to cool down,” the source added. “We live in a democracy, at least for now.”

Axios reports the Biden team as an eight-point plan to right the campaign ship.
“Biden has zero interest in stepping aside — and First Lady Jill Biden and key family members and friends agree, according to people who talk regularly with them,” according to Axios. “A massive political, PR and personal campaign is underway to reject calls for President Biden to drop his re-election race — and rally Democrats to move on from public debate about age and his future,” top officials told Axios.
The “Biden survival strategy,” according to Axios, includes:
“Dismiss ‘bedwetting.'”
“Squeeze polls for juice.”
“Warn of chaos.”
“Limit dissent.”
“Keep elected leaders close.”
“Get the donor class to chill.”
“Prove vitality.”
“Ignore/engage the media.”
On that last part, President Biden is expected to do “a town hall or big one-on-one interview this month.”
