Trump Calls Pelosi ‘Racist’ While Saying It ‘Doesn’t Concern’ Him White Nationalists Feel Supported by His Racism
At a “Made in America” showcase at the White House President Donald Trump called Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi “racist” as he expanded his attacks on four progressive Democratic women of color.
Asked if the massive criticism he’s getting over his racist remarks bothers him, President Trump replied, “It doesn’t concern me because many people agree with me. And all I’m saying — they want to leave, they can leave,” he added again.
Trump repeated those remarks several times. “If you’re not happy in the U.S., if you’re complaining all the time, very simply, you can leave, right now,” Trump told the audience, to applause.
Many might assume President Trump is literally “complaining all the time,” just by looking at his Twitter feed.
Trump then called Speaker Pelosi “very racist,” when told she had said he “wants to make America white again.”
“That’s just a very racist statement, somebody that would say that,” Trump responded, attributing the remarks he made to her.

Trump also said it “doesn’t concern” him that many are criticizing his remarks as racist, or that white nationalists are finding common cause with him on his racist tweets, “because many people agree with me.”

In fact, literally just one Republican has criticized the President’s remarks as racist.
