French Government Subtly Mocks Trump’s ‘Flying Water Tankers’ Notre-Dame Tweet

 
 
 
President Emmanuel Macron's French government's appeared to subtly mock President Donald Trump for his tweet several hours ago telling firefighters what to do to put the horrific fire that has destroyed the historic Notre-Dame cathedral, Notre-Dame de Paris.

"So horrible to watch the massive fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Perhaps flying water tankers could be used to put it out. Must act quickly!" Trump tweeted at 1:39 PM ET.

The president's tweet was not well received in the U.S. or in France.

A few hours later, Sécurité Civile Fr, the official account of the French General Directorate for Civil Security and Crisis Management threw shade at the American President's ignorant and unwelcome tweet, and did so in English:
