Mueller Notifies Judge of Roger Stone’s Instagram Post That Claims He Was ‘Framed’ – Is He Going to Jail?
At the last hearing the judge warned, “This is the last time.”
Trump confidant Roger Stone came exceptionally close to being jailed two weeks ago for allegedly threatening s federal judge by posting an image that included her photo next to what looked like gun target crosshairs.
Stone was warned at that point he could not discuss his case going forward unless he wanted to be sent to jail.
Monday evening Special Counsel Robert Mueller notified the judge of an Instagram post Stone made over the weekend, that might violate the judge’s order – and might end up sending him to jail.
The Instagram post, titled, “Who framed Roger Stone,” suggests Stone was framed. The post also included the internet address for his legal defense fund.
In, “Roger Stone May Have Just Broken His Gag Order On Instagram,” HuffPost reports, “Stone, who awaits trial on charges in special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia election probe, on Sunday posted a ‘Roger Rabbit’-style photo illustration on his Instagram story suggesting he’d been framed. The judge assigned to his trial last month specifically forbade him from posting anything on Instagram about his case.”
Here’s what Stone appears to have posted:
