‘Shame on You Mr. Jordan’: Michael Cohen Totally Destroys GOP Congressmen Trying to Discredit His Testimony

Michael Cohen‘s bombshell prepared testimony delivered stunning facts about President Donald Trump’s apparent criminal and offensive behavior, but his oral testimony Wednesday did not disappoint either.

Cohen, who served as a corporate vice president for the Trump Organization and then as Donald Trump’s personal attorney, may have lost his law license on Tuesday but his ability to manage his testimony and that of sitting Republican Members of Congress was on full display.

Cohen is going to jail for about three years for lying to Congress and several other crimes, but he was not about to allow Republicans to destroy the facts or the credibility of his testimony.

One Republican during Cohen’s Wednesday testimony before the House Oversight Committee, Rep. Mark Green of Tennessee, tried to make Cohen look like he was delivering his testimony against President Trump just to make money.

“What is your source of income in the future?” Rep. Green asked.

“I don’t expect I’m going to have a source of income when I’m in federal penitentiary,” Cohen dryly responded.

“Is there a book deal coming, or anything like that?” Green, grasping at straws and clearly not knowing the answer, asked.

Replying that he does not have a book deal but has been “contacted by many, including for television and movie, Cohen quipped, “If you’d like to tell me who you’d like to play you I’d be more than happy to write the name down.”

Desperate, Green threw out a last question.

“Who paid your expenses to be here today?”

“I paid my expenses,” Cohen replied.

(Green, it should be noted, has said transgender people are an “evil” that must be “crushed.”)

The President’s former fixer was far from done.

Far right wing extremist Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio tried his best to discredit Cohen’s testimony against trump at all costs. Cohen would not allow it.

Responding to Jordan’s false characterization of Cohen’s testimony, Cohen basically called him a liar.

“Mr. Jordan, that’s not what I said and you know that’s not what I said,” Cohen corrected. “Shame on you, Mr. Jordan,” Cohen added.
