House Intel Chair Postpones Michael Cohen’s Testimony ‘In the Interests of the Investigation’

House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) has just announced that former Trump personal attorney Michael Cohen’s testimony before the Committee has been postponed, “In the interests of the investigation.” Cohen will now testify on February 28.
Chairman Schiff’s statement is leading many to wonder if there is a new development in the cases, including Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe and the Southern District of New York’s investigation into the Trump empire.
A reporter for the L.A. Times who is working on the Russia investigation called Schiff’s statement “cryptic.”
This is a cryptic statement from Rep. Schiff.
“In the interests of the investigation, Michael Cohen’s testimony has been postponed until February 28th.”
He was originally scheduled to testify behind closed doors on Friday.
