Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has just responded to President Donald Trump’s letter in which he says he will be delivering the State of the Union address from the House of Representatives.
And her response is no.
The Speaker, in a formal letter, reminded the President that a joint resolution of Congress is required to allow him to deliver the State of the Union from the House floor and she will not support that resolution.
At least not until “government has opened.”
