‘Fact-Free Screed Without Rebuttal’: Trump Tweeted He’ll Address the Nation – Network Execs Have Not Agreed

Minutes after President Donald Trump posted a tweet announcing he will address the nation on Tuesday at 9 PM ET, several reports state the networks have yet to agree.

“I am pleased to inform you that I will Address the Nation on the Humanitarian and National Security crisis on our Southern Border,” Trump tweeted.

But The New York Times’ Maggie Haberman, who has strong sources within the Trump administration, says networks have yet to agree:

And CNN echoes Haberman’s report.

“The broadcast networks have not yet committed to showing President Trump’s Tuesday night address,” CNN’s Brian Stelter reports.

“Time has been requested tomorrow night for 9p. Networks are deliberating,” he added, citing a network source.
