Trump Is Expected to Fire Top National Security Official After First Lady’s Demand: WSJ

Editor’s note: 4:40 PM – The Wall Street Journal has changed it story and added this correction:
“White House Deputy National Security Adviser Mira Ricardel is expected to be fired. An earlier headline incorrectly said she already had been fired and escorted from the White House.”
NCRM has updated its story accordingly.

It is expected Deputy National Security Advisor Mira Ricardel will be fired. Wall Street Journal reporter Michael C. Bender had reported Tuesday afternoon Ricardel had been fired and escorted out of the White House. He also posted that information in a tweet:

“Deputy National Security Adviser Mira Ricardel Has Been Fired and Escorted From the White House,” The Journal’s article had read.

The First Lady barely an hour ago issued a statement calling for Ricardel’s canning.

Ricardel reports to National Security Advisor John Bolton.
