DONALD TRUMP IS HARMING AMERICA
Trump Just Called the Media ‘The True Enemy of the People’ – Days After Bombs Sent to CNN

Amid questions from reporters if he thought his rhetoric had helped incite a terrorist who sent 14 bombs last week, President Donald Trump on Friday said he thought he’s been “toned down,” and warned he “could tone it up.”
He just did.
Monday morning, just days after two of the bombs were sent to CNN, and less than 48 hours after a madman marched into a synagogue and massacred 11 people, President Trump just called the media “the true enemy of the people.”
That man, the man who attempted to assassinate 12 people, including two former U.S. presidents, also called CNN the “enemy” of America.
Trump appears to be linking the anti-Semitic hate crime mass shooting, the deadliest attack on Jewish people in America’s history, and the 14 bombs, to the free press.
“There is great anger in our Country caused in part by inaccurate, and even fraudulent, reporting of the news. The Fake News Media, the true Enemy of the People, must stop the open & obvious hostility & report the news accurately & fairly. That will do much to put out the flame,” Trump tweeted, “of Anger and Outrage and we will then be able to bring all sides together in Peace and Harmony. Fake News Must End!” he added.
Some responses to Trump’s attack:
“the true enemy of the people.”
There it is right there. Some other deranged person may well be making a bomb to mail soon.
it’s only a matter of time. https://t.co/uMu1NEJ2WT

He blamed the media for the mail bomber, now he seems to be blaming the media for the synagogue attacks. This is despicable. This isn’t a man who is concerned with stopping the violence, this is a man who seeks to use the violence to silence his critics and the free press. https://t.co/zLqNVKtQPa

Trump wields bombing campaign as a weapon against the press. For Trump, true reporting is the kind that makes him look good; anything that doesn’t is “fake news.” https://t.co/v5L356k56P https://t.co/AfTHGX6shn

The bombing suspect, who was an obsessed Trump supporter, repeatedly called CNN “the enemy America” on Twitter – echoing the president’s rhetoric – before he sent his bombs. Today, the president calls the media “the true Enemy of the People.” https://t.co/BnrdDrUJYd

“If only the media would cover events fairly, my supporters wouldn’t be so angry that they’d send bombs to my opponents.” https://t.co/Ogws8eFo89

Hate crimes have a point, Nazis aren’t the enemy and journalists deserve to be bombed is what he’s saying. https://t.co/AZuJvL2m9f

Seriously this guy is unaware that due to comments like these he inspires hate and has caused actual bomb threats against citizens of the country he has sworn to protect. What a dumbass https://t.co/atw8LKKRkz
