‘36 Years Ago We Started This Against Him’: Hillary Clinton Mocks Brett Kavanaugh’s Insane Conspiracy Theory

‘They Give Us a Lot of Credit’
Hillary Clinton was asked to weigh in on Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s claim the attacks against him are part of a conspiracy on the left to avenge Hillary Clinton’s 2016 election loss.
After exploding into laughter, the former Democratic presidential nominee said, “I mean, really. Yes. It deserves a lot of laughter.”
“I thought it was just part of the whole, of his, very defensive and unconvincing presentation,” Clinton responded.
“I told someone later, ‘Boy, they give us a lot of credit. 36 years ago we started this against him,” Clinton said, sarcastically.
The host interviewing Clinton at The Atlantic Festival added, “Back at Yale.”
“Yeah, well, even before, back in high school, apparently,” she mocked.
The former First Lady, U.S. Senator, and Secretary of State also noted that “there’s a lot to be concerned about” when examining Kavanaugh’s judicial temperament.
Kavanaugh last Thursday, in his prepared remarks, falsely told the Senate Judiciary Committee, “This whole two-week effort has been a calculated and orchestrated political hit, fueled with apparent pent-up anger about President Trump and the 2016 election. Fear that has been unfairly stoked about my judicial record, revenge on behalf of the Clintons, and millions of dollars in money from outside, left-wing opposition groups.”
