‘I’ve Never Sexually Assaulted Anyone’: Kavanaugh and Wife Give Interview to Fox News (Video)

Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Ashley Estes Kavanaugh, his wife, a Maryland town manager, will appear Monday night on Fox News. The couple taped an interview with the right wing news outlet whose former co-president now serves as the White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications.

“I’ve never sexually assaulted anyone,” Judge Kavanaugh says in this clip, as he names his accuser.

“I’m not going to let false accusations drive us out of this process,” Judge Kavanaugh continues, in what appears to be a scripted and staged interview. As he says “us” he pauses to look at his wife.

“We’re looking for a fair process, where I can be heard and defend my lifelong record of promoting dignity and equality for women, starting with the women who knew me when I was 14 years old,” Kavanaugh continues. Ashley Kavanaugh can be seen shaking her head in agreement but then stops when he starts talking about promoting dignity and equality for women.

Kavanaugh tonight will try to defend his candidacy as a Supreme Court nominee after at least two women have gone on the record to accuse him of sexual assault. Attorney Michael Avenatti says he has another client who alleges Kavanaugh participated in attempts to use alcohol and drugs to place women in situations where they were then gang raped.
