Angry Kavanaugh Throws Temper Tantrum, Calls Accusations a ‘Joke’ and a ‘Farce’ and Dodges Key Question

U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) questioned Judge Brett Kavanaugh Thursday afternoon, asking him why he didn’t call for the FBI to investigate the claims of sexual assault, attempted rape, and/or sexual misconduct made by at least three women.
“All three of these women have asked the FBI to investigate their claims,” Senator Feinstein told Judge Kavanaugh. “If you’re very confident about your positions, and you appear to be, why aren’t you also asking the FBI to investigate these claims?”
Judge Kavanaugh did not directly answer the question.
“Senator I’ll do whatever the Committee wants,” Kavanaugh said.
Not only did he not answer the question, this is not the position someone on the Supreme Court should take. The Supreme Court is a separate and equal body that does not defer to Congress or the President.
Judge Kavanaugh then took the opportunity to attack the Judiciary Committee, presumably mostly the Democrats, and the media.
He called the accusations of other women, and other details about his life “nonsense.”
“My family’s been destroyed by this, Senator. Destroyed,” he added, with an angry, dismissive look.

He also threw a temper tantrum and called the accusations from Julie Swetnick, represented by Michael Avenatti, and who signed a sworn statement under penalty of perjury, “a joke, a farce.”
