Cohen Plea Deal Includes Admitting Guilt to Illegal Acts Involving ‘Candidate for Federal Office’

Michael Cohen, the president’s former personal attorney, is appearing before a judge to accept a plea deal right now. MSNBC reports that two of the eight charges he is pleading guilty to involve illegal acts involving a “candidate for federal office,” which appears to be the President of the United States.

Cohen admits to working “at direction of the candidate” Trump and national enquirer to silence Karen McDougal. He also admits to Stormy Daniels payment that he made “with and at direction of the same candidate.”

Reportedly his guilty plea includes charges of campaign finance and bank fraud, and tax evasion.
In exchange for pleading guilty Cohen will spend 3 to 5 years in jail, according to John Roberts of Fox News.
