In Switch Embarrassing to Trump Putin Now Says He’s Ready to Come to Washington

Also Invites Trump to Moscow

President Donald Trump invited Vladimir Putin to the White House last week, just days after his disastrous meeting with the Russian President in Helsinki.

On Wednesday, after Putin had not responded, Trump had his National Security Advisor announce it would be best for Putin to delay his visit until after the Mueller “witch hunt,” sometime in 2019.

It was an embarrassing move Trump was forced to make, given Putin’s silence.

Less than 24 hours later, Putin has again embarrassed Trump, announcing Friday he is now ready to visit Washington, D.C. and also extended an invitation to Trump to visit him at the Kremlin in Moscow.

Sky News notes Putin “added that the conditions for Mr Trump to visit the Russian capital need to be right,” which lets Putin keep the upper hand.
