WATCH: Anti-Gay Opponents of The Red Hen Protest With Signs Reading ‘Let God Burn Them (LGBT)’



Tuesday afternoon anti-gay pro-Trump supporters came out to protest The Red Hen, a small, private, rural Virginia restaurant whose owner over the weekend politely had asked Sarah Huckabee Sanders to leave.

One of the protestors held a sign that reads, “Homos are full of demons,” and another that says, “Unless they repent Let God Burn Them (LGBT) 2 Peter 2:6.”

Trump-supporting conservatives and Republicans were quick to judge the restaurant, demanding liberals and Democrats learn “civility.” Lost among the far right’s headlines, and thanks to the White House press secretary’s illegal tweet, was part of the reason why Huckabee Sanders was asked to dine elsewhere: several of the employees at The Red Hen reportedly are LGBT and they were challenged to serve the spokesperson of the man who has worked hard to harm the LGBT community.

Virginia ABC affiliate 13 News posted these photos and videos:

Ironically, other protestors held signs saying “Trump Is Love,” and “Red Hen needs to learn love and tolerance.”
