Rosenstein Assures Congress Trump Has Not Been Vindicated on Russia: Investigation is ‘Ongoing’
Testifying before the House Judiciary Committee late Thursday morning Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was asked a very specific and direct question.
“Do you believe, as Donald Trump indicated, that the investigation which you have read, the Inspector General’s report, has vindicated Mr. Trump, as relates to collusion with Russian agents?”
“There is an ongoing investigation,” Rosenstein responded.
“And it’s not concluded?”
“Correct,” he added.
