Roseanne Barr Apologizes – but Not for Everything

CALLS GROW FOR ABC TO CANCEL ‘ROSEANNE’

Roseanne Barr, star of ABC TV’s rebooted “Roseanne,” spent the wee hours of Tuesday morning tweeting vile and disgusting racist and anti-Semitic attacks on former top Obama aide Valerie Jarrett, Chelsea Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and George Soros.

After massive outrage and demands ABC fire Barr, she has issued an apology – but not for all of her disgusting remarks.

Barr apologized to Jarrett for calling her the offspring of the “muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes.” Those racist remarks were unforgivable.

The 65- year old former Green Party presidential candidate and Donald Trump supporter, however, did not apologize for any of her other remarks from Tuesday, including calling George Soros a “nazi who turned in his fellow Jews 2 be murdered in German concentration camps & stole their wealth.”

Barr called her assault of Jarrett a “joke” that was in “bad taste.” It was far worse; it was unabashed racism, pure and simple.

She also claimed she was “leaving Twitter,” the social media platform she used to make her vile comments. Twitter should have banned her for violating its terms of service but has not.

It’s unclear, although doubtful, if she is permanently leaving Twitter.

Many on Twitter were furious and not satisfied with her apology or promise to leave the social media platform.
