It’s triggered Tuesday for Conservative Christians after the Drudge Report linked to an article on a right wing website detailing an upcoming university workshop aimed at helping followers of Jesus understand their Christian privilege in America. “Christian Privilege” is now trending on Twitter.
“Just four days after Easter, George Washington University will host a training session for students and faculty that teaches that Christians — especially white ones — ‘receive unmerited perks from institutions and systems all across our country,'” The College Fix reports. “Hosted by the university’s Multicultural Student Services Center, the event will teach that Christians enjoy a privileged, easier life than their non-Christian counterparts, and that Christians possess ‘built-in advantages’ today, according to its online description.”
