As Advertisers Exit Laura Ingraham Apologizes ‘In the Spirit of Holy Week’

Fox News host and right wing radio talk show provocateur Laura Ingraham is reacting quickly to a boycott forced upon her after she attacked Parkland mass shooting survivor David Hogg.

Ingraham tweeted Thursday afternoon, “in the spirit of Holy Week, I apologize for any upset or hurt my tweet caused him or any of the brave victims of Parkland.” Rachel Ray’s Nutrish, Wayfair, and TripAdvisor are among the top advertisers that announced they were pulling their support of her show.

She suffered stiff and immediate outrage after tweeting, “David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied and whines about it,” late Wednesday morning, linking to a story in a right wing publication, Daily Wire about Hogg.

Hogg responded with action, asking supporters to urge Ingraham’s advertisers to pull their ads. They did, quickly.
