Martin Shkreli Goes to Jail

Martin Shkreli has just been handed a jail sentence. He will have to serve seven years for fraud, CNN reports.

Shkreli had defrauded investors out of $10 million, and faced a sentence of up to 20 years.

The pharmaceutical CEO gained national infamy for buying the rights to a cheap but life-saving drug and jacking its price by 5000 percent. He later made headlines for his offensive behavior in general, and in front of members of Congress, whom he called “imbeciles,” when he was called to testify.
