‘Eric Looks Smart’
The text of the letter sent to the home of the president’s son and daughter-in-law that included an unknown white powder has been revealed. Vanessa Trump was sent to the hospital as a precautionary measure and was unharmed. NBC News 4 New York reports the white powder was not hazardous and might be cornstarch, but has yet to be identified.
“You are an awful, awful person,” the text of the letter, which reportedly was mailed from Boston, reads. “I am surprised that your father lets you speak on TV. You the family idiot. Eric looks smart.”
“This is the reason why people hate you. You are getting what you deserve. So shut the f— up.”
The sender has yet to be identified, but law enforcement authorities are investigating.Â
